Cognitive and Learning Disabilities
The professional field of special education is extremely broad, with many different terms, definitions, conditions, and issues, etc., that can become confusing to anyone. To better understand the two major divisions of special education, this site is broken down into "Cognitive Disabilities" and "Learning Disabilities." Both of these sections provide an easy-to-read and understandable look into special education.
It is important to remember that with such a broad field that there will be different facts and opinions on many different issues. The best thing to do is to keep an open mind and thoroughly research before drawing any conclusions.
